Once had a recall on an Octavia because of failing cables and spark plugs and this feels almost as it did just before it stopped running altogether. 30 days to 6 months also quite forward if you are impacted - one email can enact the rejection and you can get your money back. ???

The engine now idles from a cold start at 1250rpm whereas before the update it was 1000rpm, will see how the Karoq performs over a few more miles but I have a feeling the update I received has caused other lack of fuel / timing and other ECU related issues.

The head of sales at the dealership took it out, stalled a few times and said there was an issue but is now denying this. Mercedes, meanwhile, will sell you an A220 Sport for 24,695 with 156bhp, 184lb ft and 0-62mph in 8.1 seconds. Actually the dealer seems to have an increasing number of "35" engine models with low mileage listed so maybe they are stocking up on them awaiting a future fix. I used to work for vwg and seen it multiple times in the 1.5 Audi's particularly the A3's but that's only due to the engine size being very common across that model.
